Collection: Ghostwriting

In a past life, I wrote and published 6 books in the education space. 5 of these were best-sellers on Amazon in their categories, and the books generated more than 1000 5 star reviews. 

There were a few months were they made quite a bit of money through sales, but after that they were a really nice business asset, and gave authority and trust to the business. 

Anyway, I'm in talks with one company to ghost-write a book about their niche, and then launch it on Amazon and to their list. 

They have stalled quite a bit on this though to be honest, so I'm only about 70% sure this will happen. 

If it does, the deal we agreed is this:

Revenue: 5 month project. Monthly payments of £1000 ($1340 approx). 

Project: Meet with the business owner at least 3 times. Write a thought leadership book in their space based on their methods and past successes.

First two months - create first draft.

Third month - Finalise draft. I would guess the book would be somewhere between 15,000 words and 25,000 words. 

Months four and five - tease the book to their list. Set it up on Amazon, and then launch! 

I have quite a detailed strategy for book launches that generates up to 100 reviews on launch (as long as you have a decent email list). I will write about that elsewhere.

But for now, I'm hoping to get started with this project asap!

Like all these projects, if the first attempt goes successfully, then this could definitely progress into similar deals.
