Reviving a Hidden Gem with Modern Marketing Power

This is the side hustle that I say has the least chance of making any money, but if did it could be a big one.

Also, I've done the hard yards already, so I might as well just try the last little bit of the process.

What's happened?

Well, about 15 years ago, I wrote this children's book. I sent it to a few literary agents at the time, but I didn't really go too hard on it to be honest.

Then I virtually just forgot about it, since having kids (I had my first kid a few months after finishing writing it).

Anyway, I recently resurfaced this book on an old pen drive, and I'm actually impressed with it. I've uploaded it to ChatGPT and Claude as well, and they seem to love it for multiple reasons. 

I should say, in my online businesses I've run over the last ten years, I've written 6 other books that were all non-fiction. They were all best-sellers in their category on Amazon, and got more than a 1000 five-star reviews. 

So I know the general process of selling books online. I've also grown and managed email lists. 

This is, of course, all after I have written this first book. I now have skills in marketing that I never had before. 

Anyway, the plan is this:

Find the best 20-30 literary agents to send the manuscript to. Send to 5 of these per week (maybe) and just keep going!

See if there is ever a response of any kind. Any feedback would be welcome. But if I can get a contract out of this - happy days.

This book could definitely be part of a series. Anyway, I will keep you posted.
